i found this country house hotel quite comfortable. the oak-paneled public rooms offered traditional decor and comfortable furnishings. i appreciated the ample parking available right outside. the grounds allowed easy access to paths up the hills behind the hotel.
the shower pressure was a little low.

The restaurant provided fabulous food, especially the breakfast options. I thought everything was cooked to order. the price of food and wine struck me as reasonable for the quality. the soup was lovely!!!

my suite was excellent, being a very large room complete with a super comfortable bed. the twin aspect windows opened onto the garden, which i found visually appealing. the room included a good shower too.

the hotel's location is picturesque with beautiful grounds. the area is very quiet offering chilled and super quiet place. the site works very well for relaxation and walks.

I found the staff helpful and friendly. They really were pretty good too. the food was amazing!!! especially the breakfast, it set me up perfectly for my days.
the furnishings felt a little outdated, and the lighting wasn't great. i also had a stone cold shower, definitely not ideal.
